Earn the Right to Close!

Closing can feel awkward if we have not earned the right to ask for their business. What are some ways we can earn the right to ask for our customer’s business?

As it sits right now, this very second, the right to close for me is when I've really built wonderful rapport and have gotten to know a customer beyond the mattress realm. Once I know I've related with a customer and have went above and beyond qualifying including where they've been mattress store-wise as well as their needs, I feel very relaxed and know I have the right to close. Anything less than this, resembles other places. But...if I have a difficult, bah hum bug, one lapper, I like to practice closing just for fun after exhausting every attempt at building rapport. Thanks!
