It was a dark rainy night in Plano Texas. It was 8:15 pm and the door slowly opened allowing the wind to rush in.... Just jokes guys. The facts remaining the same a young couple came in talking to each other but a little stand offish to me. I greeted them and explained the sale and how CBC works. The first thing Adam says to me is "my bed is just old and we want a new one when we move in our new house". After obtaining permission for the PSE I had them lay on the Allura in the upright position. Of course he said he could sleep anywhere and they were not hot sleepers and no pets. Adam was answering for Ashley too so I asked her if she was worried about sleep problems and from there on out this is about Ashley. Lower back pain and a light sleeper and allergies and she sleeps on her side. I guess Adam felt left out because even though he said he could sleep anywhere he was suddenly worried about sleep problems in the future. To get Adam more engaged I asked him about his personal life, he was a car salesman and was on his feet most of the day. Adam realized with some help from Ashley that he also tossed and turned throughout the night. They chose plush and 15 minutes later he was at the desk setting up delivery on his new World Class. As I was walking them to the door he turned around and thanked me and told me he had every intention of shopping 5 places in the next 2 days. The first place he went was not concerned about him but about the mattress he selected. I with enormous help from Mattress Firm, CBC, and the ever-famous PSE converted Adam and Ashley into Mattress Firm customers for life.

On Labor Day, Kristen and Brian came in stating that they were in a hurry to pick up their 6 year-old-daughter. I asked if they had filled out a Personal Sleep Evaluation, which they hadn't. I explained that it was only a few questions and it would help save time. Brian is a truck driver and usually comes home with all sorts of back pains. They were also interested in a King size mattress as their 5 mo. old son sleeps with them. They also stated that they slept hot and that their current mattress was not giving them the support they needed. After a few questions we went to the Comparison Center where they decided they were a green. In the end, the longest part of the process was trying to decide between the Rhapsody and the Classic. Not only did it save the customers time but it gave them a solution to Brian's severe back pains.
